Crown gets new king

Crown Holdings, Inc., headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, has announced that James D. Wilson has been promoted to president of Crown Food Packaging North America.
The promotion marks his return to the food business, where he served as vice-president of sales and marketing for four years. Most recently, Wilson was president of Crown’s North American aerosol business, a position he has held since 2007.
“We are pleased to have Jim back in the food business, an area he knows well and will continue to grow thanks to his strong focus on organizational improvements and customer service,” says Raymond L. McGowan, president of Crown’s Americas Division. “We are confident that under Jim’s guidance, Crown will continue to play a key role in building customers’ brands with convenient, innovative packaging.”
