“This partnership makes a lot of sense,” says Blue Water president Jaime Alboim. “The SITEFLO product is in high demand in the packaging sector and its driving value for both Blue Water and our customer base.”

Meyer’s career in industrial automation started in 1987 as an assembler and service technician at Pearson Packaging in Spokane. Over the next 10 years, Meyer moved into the sales department as a sales administrator, and in just 18 months, he accepted the position of regional sales manager and eventually international sales manager.

His next stop was to take the reins of sales and marketing manager for SWF Dyna-Pak, the premiere manufacturer of flexible packaging case packing, working with other original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) to create integrated systems. With the move of Dyna-Pak to California, he transitioned into national accounts management providing solutions from all seven SWF business units as well as joined the acquisition team to build The SWF Companies.

In 2001, Meyer joined PMMI’s Business Intelligence Committee where he served for 12 years in providing actionable intelligence/reports to PMMI members to help them drive their business and make U.S. manufacturer’s leaders in packaging automation.

In 2004, Meyer accepted a position as the western industrial products manager at Wexxar working again with OEM partners to place Wexxar equipment into integrated lines. Meyer became a part of Pro Mach Inc.’s End of Line Solutions Group and their secondary packaging business units. Meyer returned back to Wexxar in 2009 as a business development manager and OEM program manager.

Before joining Blue Water Automation, Meyer was involved with JLS Automation as the U.S. west regional sales manager and their partner Case Packing Systems from the Netherlands as their U.S. national sales manager.

“We’re fortunate to be growing alongside Blue Water,” says SITEFLO chief executive officer Brent MacDonald. “As software starts to eat the packaging sector and we see the industrial internet really take hold, our product and their collective knowledge of this sector is a winning combination.”
