Bemis Co. Elects New V.P & C.F.O.

Minneapolis, MN-headquartered Bemis Company, Inc. , a major supplier of flexible packaging and pressure sensitive materials for the food and healthcare industries has recently announced that Scott Ullem will take over as vice-president and chief financial officer.
Elected by Bemis’ board of directors, Ullem succeeds Gene C. Wulf, who will assume the new role of executive vice-president of Bemis.

Ullem joined Bemis in 2008 as the vice-president of finance, and has previously worked at Bank of America and at Goldman Sachs.

Wulf, in his new role as executive vice-president, will focus on the integration of the acquired Alcan Packaging Food Americas business in addition to his responsibilities related to Bemis’ global corporate strategy and information technology. Wulf held the position of chief financial officer since 2002. Prior, Wulf was controller of Bemis from 1998 to 2002, and was elected an officer in May 1997.
