DAYTON, OH—Baumer hhs has announced the implementation of its Customer First
Initiative, a new program aimed at providing customers with a cohesive communications experience consisting of a three-pronged communications approach: Consultative Selling, Installation Planning and Post Sale Follow-up.
Baumer hhs North America president Chris Raney says the initiative “ensures that everyone in our organization at every level communicates systematically and proactively with our customers.”
Explaining the initiative, Raney states: “Consultative selling is made possible by our technically knowledgeable sales team; they can recommend the right gluing and quality assurance solutions to meet customers’ needs. During installation planning, we work closely with customers and develop a detailed schedule, meeting their production requirements, to make sure every installation goes smoothly. Since post-sale follow up is extremely important for customer satisfaction, we’re making sure our team communicates with customers on a regular basis in the period after start-up.”
The Customer First Initiative is the next phase of the company’s development, following a substantial growth in its sales and service teams. The company now has six sales managers and six field technicians, supported by a strong internal organization in the Dayton head office.
“The additional sales managers ensure market coverage and ongoing customer contact,” adds Raney. “This is a business where our customers face new challenges every day, and our team can now be on the spot to advise and assist on a regular basis.”
The team, including the 10 new members, came together for the first time this summer at the company’s annual sales meeting, and Raney was excited to see their enthusiasm about Customer First. “They are all focused on providing the best possible support for our customers.”
