Atlantic Packaging Approved For FSC-Certification

Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd., manufacturer of paper and plastic packaging products from recycled paper products, continues its commitment to environmental responsibility by announcing it has been approved for FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification for its five corrugated box plants in Ontario joining its two linerboard mills in Toronto and a newsprint mill in Whitby.
Atlantic Packaging, established in 1945, has 16 manufacturing facilities and warehouses in Canada, and is recognized for its strong recycling position–having never cut down a tree in the manufacture of its products, saving over 13-million trees annually.
It has also received recognition from: RCO (Recycled Council of Ontario), The Province of Ontario, The Toronto Board of Trade, PAC The Packaging Association and many more for its leadership in environmental management, including energy reduction and water management.
