Are you on schedule with Walmart Canada‘s Packaging Sustainable Scorecard?

Launched on July 1, 2009 Walmart Canada released its Packaging Sustainability Scorecard in an attempt to help the retail giant accurately measure its progress to reducing its packaging by five per cent by 2013.

To help facilitate vendor participation, Walmart has arranged for the PAC (The Packaging Association) to provide vendor training sessions, with the next scheduled event occurring on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Toronto Congress Centre.

The detailed course will provide instruction on how to enter data onto the Walmart Packaging Sustainability Scorecard, and will provide a review of the metrics associated it. A hands-on exercise will illustrate the power of Package Modeling 2.0 in helping the vendor understand and improve scores. The course includes a limited time license for the packaging scorecard allowing attendees to further acquaint themselves with its potential.
