SGK earns Gold and Bronze at 2013 Pentawards

Via Brandimage and Anthem, SGK takes home a pair of awards in the global packaging design competition.

DES PLAINES, IL—SGK, formerly marketed as Schawk, Inc. announces Brandimage and Anthem, each a part of SGK’s brand development group, have earned two packaging design awards recognizing creativity and excellence.

SGK is a leading global brand development, activation and deployment company that drives brand performance.

Brandimage received a gold Pentaward for its design of packaging for Bama (see image above), a new, über-premium, mineral water for the China market.

Anthem won a bronze Pentaward for its design of packaging for PLUS private brands’ PLUS Washing Powder and PLUS Liquid Detergent for The Netherlands-based supermarket PLUS.

The 2013 Pentawards Worldwide Packaging Design Competition is the first online global awards competition devoted exclusively to packaging design. This seventh edition of the Pentawards received over 1,400 entries from five continents and 49 countries.

In the Beverage – Water category, Brandimage was awarded:
GOLD: Bama Mineral Water packaging
Design: Brandimage (Hong Kong)
Brand Owner: Uni-President China Holdings Ltd.

In the Other Markets – Distributors/Retailers own brands category, Anthem was awarded:
BRONZE: PLUS Private Label Liquid Detergent and PLUS Washing Powder Packaging
Design: Anthem (The Netherlands)
Brand Owner: PLUS
