*** What would you do with $20,000? Growing Forward – Food Safety and Traceability Initiative (FSTI) is a new program introduced by OMAFRA (Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs) to help facilities adopt food safety and traceability practices. FSTI provides 75 per cent reimbursement of eligible expenses up to a maximum of $20,000. Your $20,000 can be used to train staff to increase the adoption of food safety and traceability by off-setting the cost of program registration or development of on-site, customized food safety training programs.
