The PAC – The Packaging Association is offering a once in a lifetime opportunity for sustainability entrepreneurs to pitch their concept to industry experts for constructive feedback in a public forum of up to 300 packaging community leaders in a style highly reminiscent of the very popular television reality shows Shark Tank and Dragon’s Den.
Deadline for submissions is January 29, 2010 for the PAC Green Den event to be held on February 23, 2010 at the Toronto International Centre.
After presenting your concept to a panel of industry experts and receive constructive feedback, those selected to continue are offered the opportunity to pitch the idea in a private meeting to their pre-selected committee member.
There will also be an audience of up to 300 packaging industry professionals who will also be very interested in your concept–so networking opportunities abound.
There is no charge to you unless you are accepted to present to the Panel–the Committee Members will make the final selection of participating innovators–with the finalists to be notified on February 5, 2010.
As well, as attending packaging industry executives getting a chance to see the pitches, they will also select the People’s Choice Best of Show, and get to hear a keynote address from panelist Tom Szaky, founder and chief executive officer of TerraCycle.
