During economic downturns, machine designers as well as operators and maintenance personnel can improve their marketability with updated skills by taking training courses.
Omron Canada Inc. offers industrial automation courses that develop proficiency in the design and use of systems that incorporate motion control, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), communications networks, and human-machine interfaces (HMIs). The English calendar covers curriculum from January to June 2009 and training is available in Toronto, London, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. Classes are also available in French language, these will be held in Montreal and calendar covers the entire year.
The hands-on courses are focused on techniques to solve real application problems that help optimize the results from a company’s automation investment. This year as a new added bonus, all PLC based courses offered by Omron include a CP1-2GO Automation starter Kit as part of the courses at no extra charge.
