Cascades Recovery Inc., along with PAC – The Packaging Association, are hosting a plant tour and lunch at the Toronto facility on January 11, 2012.
Cascades Recovery manages discarded materials, recovering materials that would otherwise go to landfill and using it to create new products.
Through its Recovery.PLUS Program, a customized material recovery plan is developed for each customer. But, going beyond simple recovery, the program incorporates program efficiencies into each business process to ensure that every effort is made to find beneficial uses for all discarded materials.
As an integral part of Cascades Inc., Cascades Recovery are responsible manufacturers of paper and packaging – “we produce it, and after it has been used we want it back”.
The plant tour is open to both PAC members and non-members, but space is limited. Just remember to bring your required safety shoes.
