Via its PAC Leadership Awards, the globally-recognized PAC—The Packaging Association is looking to reward excellence in all formats of packaging, in branding and graphic design, in technical aspects and in sustainability.
As the longest-running competition in North America, the PAC was the first to initiate a sustainable packaging competition in 2008.
Further innovations this year are providing greater recognition to the long-established importance of packaging via in-store marketing categories: display merchandiser; display ready packaging; display ready pallets, and; retail ready packaging.
“This is a truly unique opportunity for marketers, designers and printers to show the industry what they are doing. As a longtime participant in the PAC competition, we have seen value in many ways; from giving the recognition that our designers deserve, to thanking our clients for the great work they entrust to us, to showing appreciation to our printer partners,” says Davis vice-president of client services Linda McGregor.
Adds Molson Coors Canada‘s Andrew Laufer: “The PAC Leadership Awards set the industry benchmark on how important strategic thinking, innovation, technical excellence and sustainability all play a role within a product’s lifecycle.
